The right person for this role will have a strong combination of skills, experience, and qualities that will enable them to support our estimating, project management, and sales teams.
They will have a positive attitude and willingness to learn, as well as the ability to adapt to changing requirements and take on new responsibilities as needed.
A few qualifications this integral person must possess are:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Experience in the sign manufacturing industry a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Negotiation skills and experience in estimating a plus Ability to review and analyze technical drawings a plus Primary duties and
Responsibilities:
Obtain and negotiate outsource quotes with vendors Assist in researching and developing jobs, working with vendors to determine the best possible solutions to meet project needs Keep management informed on the production and installation of custom products Meet with sales representatives to determine the best scope of work on proposals Work with project management team by reviewing new quotes and following up on current quotes to ensure timely execution of work Develop and quote simple sign packages Review drawings with project managers and sales team to correct and eliminate design errors before quotes are given to estimators Gather and organize data, create spreadsheets, and perform other administrative tasks to support estimators Communicate with team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates Organize and maintain project files, drawings, and other documentation Use industry software to create and analyze project cost estimates Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing Other duties:
