Legal Assistant Duties:
Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner Answer phone calls, take messages, transfer calls to appropriate staff members, and handle intake Conduct electronic filing Perform data entry tasks to update client information and case files Records retrieval File and organize electronic legal documents Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role is preferred Familiarity with document management systems and legal terminology is a plus Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Proficient in data entry and basic computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Professional, and Apple IOS systems Ability to handle confidential information with discretion This position offers a competitive salary based on experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
